Peadiatrician and Neonatology

Our pediatric ambulance offers complex care for children from birth to the age of 19. Our pediatrician closely cooperated with our obstetricians. Into her care she receives the child along with complex information about the course of the mother’s pregnancy and the birth, as continuity in our care for patients is important to us.

Preventive care in our ambulance is provided in intervals according to the recommendations of the Association of Practical Doctors for Children and Adolescents in the Czech Republic, during post-natal period according to the needs of the infant and during the first year of life.

The first examination takes the form of a

• General examination (weighing, measuring, calculation of BMI, check up of vision, hearing, blood pressure, urine)
• Establishment of anamnesis
• Assurance of treatment and preventive care, including all vaccination
• Nutritional information
• Consultation of behavioral concerns
• Provision of specialist examinations /e.g. neo-natal orthopedics, ORL spec., RHB, later also logopedic care and similar/.

In the case of illness the following services of our ambulance are at your disposal:

• 24-hour telephone consultations, including nights and weekends
• home visit
• examinations in our office in Prague 6, at any time, also outside of the regular office hours
• consultation by fax or e-mail, especially during client’s stays outside the Czech Republic.
• Language capabilities - English, Italian, Russian.
